Reflection Activity
Now, take out a sheet of paper and draw two columns. Sit with your thoughts for a while before you begin.
In Column A, write three things from your family or past that have shaped who you are.
They might be traditions that gave your days meaning, lessons you learned from someone you respect, memories that still bring warmth, or values that continue to guide you through change.
In Column B, write three things from your current environment that are shaping your life right now.
Think about your new routines, the people who are influencing you, the beliefs that are evolving, or the challenges that are quietly teaching you strength and patience.
When you finish, look at both columns slowly.
What do you see? Are there similarities, differences, or surprises? You may notice that some strengths from your past are helping you in the present. You may realize how much you have grown in ways you had not noticed before.
Let your reflections rest with you. You do not need to draw conclusions right away. Awareness often arrives quietly, like a friend sitting beside you.
Remember, simply noticing is progress. Understanding where you have come from and where you are now helps you move forward with more clarity, gratitude, and peace.
You are growing, not by rushing or striving, but by allowing yourself to breathe and become — one thoughtful moment at a time. 🌱
